What if I missed a live session module?
If you miss a session, you will need to view the recording of the missed module in People Builders Central and then submit 1-2 paragraphs summarising what you learned by clicking on the green “Submit Your Key Learnings and Questions” button to the right of the video .
Where can I find the video recording of a session I missed?

The video recording from a missed module is found in People Builders Central in the SEI Certification Resource Portal.

What do I need to do to prepare for each session?

Before each session you will want to look over the case studies and other resources found under each module and print out any worksheets.

Where can I find the class documents that you refer in our sessions?

The session documents are found in each module and can also be downloaded in the ISEI Private Portal under Resources | 8-Week Certification Documents or Other Class Documents. You can download these for your use. The link to this portal is found in the sidebar of the SEI Resources Portal Homepage.

When will I get my certificate of completion?

Once you have completed all modules, and submitted learnings from any you have missed, you will receive your certificate of completion normally within 48 hours of the last session in an electronic file that you can print if you desire.

How many recertification credits did I earn again for the course I just took?

You earned 12 ICF CCE credits for successfully completing the coach certification course.

I suddenly can’t log into the private portal. What am I doing wrong?

If you have logged in the past, and can’t log on now, it’s one of three things:

1. You are trying to login using Internet Explorer. Certain features of our site are not compatible with Internet Explorer. Try logging in using Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome instead.

2. You are using an incorrect login email.

3. Your are using an incorrect password. Start first by clicking on the “Forgot My Password” link and check your inbox for the reset password. If you aren’t seeing the email, check your Spam or Junk Mail folder. If it is not there, then the email you are trying to use is not accurate. Contact ISEI Global at info@the-isei.com and we can look up which email you originally used when you first took the SEIP.

Extended DISC Accreditation
I know DISC. What makes your product different?

Extended DISC® is an advanced version of DISC that measures and reports on a significantly larger number of styles (160). Our new advanced platform FinxS has features not yet available in any other DISC-based system. FinxS is highly flexible, allowing consultants to design reports for specific clients. You can focus both the content and format to relate directly to the needs of organisations, businesses, industry groups and individuals, thus providing a fantastic value-added service for your clients.

With FinxS, customisation can go even further, with the opportunity to brand the questionnaire answering page and the final report with a company logo, colours, images and mission statement.

How long does the questionnaire take?
We recommend the candidate complete the online questionnaire within 10 – 12 minutes as this assists respondents in answering the questions with their first, most spontaneous response. It is important that each question and list of possible responses are read and understood before choosing your answers, but it is also necessary to answer using your most intuitive response. Upon completion, it only takes a matter of minutes for the results to be sent to the intended recipient. The other questionnaires in FinxS (i.e. Reasoning Analysis, Open 360 and Surveys) take longer to set up, but again the responses once completed only take minutes to appear in an inbox so you can quickly take the next steps and decide on the best course of action going forward.
What is the test’s accuracy?

Extended DISC® International publishes a validation study every two years. It shows a remarkable consistency in results. In an independent study completed by the University of Oulu, concluded that there was no significant statistical difference between the report results of individuals who completed the Extended DISC® questionnaire twice (within a 3 – 24 month time frame)*

The successful use of Behavioural Style psychometric assessments globally, and the increasing demand for them in the workplace, attests to their usefulness and accuracy in determining behaviours that have a measurable effect on job performance.

How can a 24 item questionnaire generate so much information?
The 24 questions do not create the content of the report – they only create the Profiles – and the Profiles are the basis of the report. Since people’s behaviour is generally predictable, once we identify the behavioural style of a person, we can predict their behaviour in different situations.
Do I need training to use Extended DISC® or FinxS?
The reports are unambiguous, direct, concise and easy to read. However, in completing the Extended DISC® Accreditation training you will learn to read the Profiles in more depth and obtain subtler yet influential information especially with regards to emotional issues that may be indicated by size and position of the Profiles. This deeper level of understanding, often allows the report reader to formulate expert open questions that lead to authentic dialogue with a respondent and ultimately, real insight into the issues indicated in the Behavioural Analysis. It also enables consultants to assist business decision-makers formulate approaches to particularly sensitive areas that are current affecting their business’s performance.

What benefit is there in doing the 2-day Accreditation Training?

Extended DISC® is one of the fastest growing Human Resources Systems globally. It is simple to use and easy to understand and can be utilised to provide business solutions in a number of areas, from recruitment to employee engagement and development; from team & organisational performance enhancement to finding future leaders. It is successfully used in conflict resolution situations and by many at an individual level, both as a self development tool and for career development.

All of the reports are simple to read, are unambiguous, direct and concise. They are based on Extended DISC®’s Model of Human Behaviour which has 4 behavioural styles at the most basic level – D (Dominance), I (Influence), S (Steadiness), C (Compliance). You don’t need a degree in psychology to read and gather important information from the reports and be able to apply it successfully for your business.

However, there are many levels of information that the Profiles in the report capture. Many of them are recognised and understood on a deeper level, connecting the size, position and shape of the Profiles, with particular patterns of behaviour and importantly, the emotional response associated with these patterns. Diploma of Coaching
How long does it take to complete the course?
You have 6 months to complete the Certificate course and 12 months to complete the Diploma courses. However if you follow the Recommended Schedule of Study, you can complete the Diploma in 6 – 8 months.
When can I start?
Straight away! You will receive login details within 1 working day of payment being received.
How do I access the course material?
The course content will be emailed to you in pdf format. Students read through this information, then view the Video Recoding for that particular unit of study. You complete the online assessments with support from our Education Team and/or the assistance of our Instructors when you attend the Webinars.
When are the Webinars conducted?
Webinars are conducted on a monthly basis. Beginning on the first of each month, your Instructors invite you to connect with them in facilitated conversations to support your needs. A schedule is emailed to you each month. You register for the webinar/s that you are ready for, according to the webinar schedule.
Coaching Triads, Coaching Practice Sessions
You will develop your coaching skills during the course via 8 Coaching Triads practice sessions (by phone). In addition you will complete 6 practice coaching sessions with other students and be provided with feedback on your recorded coaching sessions.
How do I make payment?

What is your cancelation policy?

There is a five-day ‘cooling off’ period after we receive your first payment. No refunds are possible after this time. We strongly encourage you to do your research to make sure that the course you have chosen is the right course for you. An administration fee equivalent to one month’s payment will be charged to cover our costs if you decide to cancel.
